2012 Service Learning Art Projects
All service learning projects are designed to explore the value of art to society, integrating the curriculum of Art Appreciation 1301 curriculum. Projects must consider and benefit artists, the art community, students, and the community.

 

Summary:One group member is affiliated with an organization called Living4Zachary.  The organization was formed when a friend died of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.  The group’s objective is to continue the mission of Living4Zachary and raise awareness to this serious health issue by utilizing design and visual elements explored in the Art Appreciation class.

This sign tells us what you're going to do to our heart, but why? That's the objective of this group. To bring awareness of why defibrillators are becoming a permanent fixture in public spaces.

The idea is to create some type of signage that can be added to current displays.
